1. Introduction about Lang Co

Lang Co beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. It is a part of Lang Co Bay, considered as one of the most natural and beautiful bays of Viet Nam.
Located about 60 km to the South of Hue City, on the AH1 highway. Being endowed with over 10km long beach with white sand, and pure seawater. The Bay has favorable conditions to develop beach resorts, eco-tourism, sea sports…Moreover, Lang Co Bay Hue also lies in the route “The Central Heritage Road” with four famous world heritage sites including Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary in Quang Nam Province. The Royal Citadel of Hue, Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park in Quang Binh Province.

1.1. Topography

Located on the foot of Hai Van pass. Lang Co beach Vietnam area includes sand-bank nearby the coast from 1.5 meters height-to 10.5 meters height. The next is the dune with a height of 5 meters to 23 meters lasting 8- 9 kilometers. The natural slope is mainly from 0.005% to 0.05%. It is on the west of Lap An lagoon, on the foot of Phu Gia Mountain. It has dunes with a slope of 20-30%. Besides, it has Lap An lagoon and small valleys on the west and south-west,

1.2. The weather

Lang Co bay is in the tropical monsoon climate. Lang Co Hue is also impacted by ocean wind and land wind. Every year, The average temperature is around 28oC. The hottest temperature is in June, July with is about 41oC and the coldest is in December with 8oC
During the French control, Lang Co knew as “An Cu”. Another name of Lang Co is “Stork village”. The old said that Lang Co has a lot of storks coming every year so the local named Lang Co for it. After that, local people usually call “Lang Co”. Lang Co beach is very popular as the most beautiful landscape in Vietnam with white sand-bank along with tropical forest on the mountains of Thua Thien Hue province.
Lang Co beach is a perfect place for relaxing, diving and is one of the ideal holiday resorts for many years.

  Bao Quoc Pagoda   is one of the oldest and sacred pagodas in Hue Imperial Capital. As you know, each pagoda covers the up and down history, delicate architecture as well as ancient stories.
